Space Mouse

If astronauts were mice, and the moon was made of cheese…well, this is what would result. I can assume it’s safe to say that the moon would be devoured.

Rumbling Grumbling

I decided just to post the drawings as I finish them up now. Might as well.

This one is a person hiding under his blanket from scary noises in the night. Which, really, aren’t very scary at all! (as he later discovers).

More Illustrations: Pixies, Trout, a Bull and a Spaceship.

Four more illustrations! I have fifteen finished, but there’s thirty in total. Each image is for a separate poem.

Illustrations for Kids’ Poems!

I’m won’t ramble on about how long it’s been since I posted, because EVERYONE does that.

But I will post some new images of my recent work! I’ve been working on a series of drawings to complement a collection of poems for children. I didn’t write the poems (which are super, by the way), but the drawings have been an awesomely fun thing to do. Collaboration with other artists (in this case, an author) is great in itself, plus it’s pretty hard  be down about things when you’re using bright crayons and markers for perky poems all day. And who doesn’t like kids’ books?

All of the pictures were drawn on 8 1/2″ x 11″ (standard size) paper, using some combination of Sharpies, markers and crayons to ensure a funky palette of colour.

The three in this post are basically my favourites, but I think the dragon tops them all.
